Our Verdict

Better OCR, new text-to-speech features, and support for PDF forms and ebooks makes OmniPage Ultimate a very susceptible merchandise…but it's not cheap.

Already a huge player in the field, Nuance is fetching its flagship OCR product, OmniPage, to new levels. The late Ultimate version features, textbook-to-speech, a LaunchPad app that embraces the Windows 8 Metro seem, better re-cosmos of complex document layouts, and editing PDF forms. But at $500, OmniPage Ultimate makes the competition look like bargains.
